Requirements for becoming an Ofsted registered nanny include registering on the Voluntary Register with Ofsted, holding a valid 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate, obtaining certification to Level 2 or 3 with training in Common Core Skills, undergoing an enhanced DBS check, and having nanny public liability insurance.

Paediatric First Aid courses:
Nanny housekeepers has been offering Paediatric First Aid courses to nannies, childminders, and early years practitioners for more than 5 years. As a member of the First Aid Industry Body, Nanny housekeepers ensures a high standard of service and quality.
The Paediatric First Aid courses are conducted three times a week, specifically on Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturdays. The course includes 6 hours of practical training and an additional 6 hours online. These 12 hours cover all the essential information and hands-on experience required to meet the Ofsted requirements.
To enroll in our comprehensive 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Course, the cost is £120.
Course in Early Years Care and Education:
Our Early Years Care and Education Course combines the essential Common Core Skills required for Ofsted registration with additional units to support each learner in achieving their maximum potential.
The Common Core Skills cover topics such as:
– Establishing Effective Communication and Engagement with Children, Young People, and Their Families

The total cost of the Early Years Care and Education Program is £189.
Check DBS:
Nanny housekeepers offers assistance in obtaining an enhanced DBS check, which can be conveniently conducted in person at any of our central UK offices. Through a face-to-face process, we meticulously verify documents and ensure that all necessary information is accurately provided on the application forms. Subsequently, we handle the online processing on your behalf.
To acquire an Enhanced DBS check, a fee of £53 is applicable, along with an annual charge of £13 for enrollment in the automatic update service.
